The Storm

1. How does the storm help set in motion the action of the story? List the events caused by the storm. The storm set up motion for the action of the story because it reunited and old relationship that turned into a affair.
2.Is the last line of the story to be taken literally, or is it meant to be ironic? Explain. I think the last line is to be taken literally because the affair was over and she was in the place that she wanted to be.
3.What does the story's desciptive details tell us about Calixta?The story's descriptive details tell me that Calixta was very unhappy and wanted out of her marriage.
